Those chosen for OMRF’s 65th Fleming class will work alongside OMRF scientists on research projects covering subjects including autoimmune diseases, cancer and cardiovascular disease.
Many colleges have already resumed in-person classes. In the fall, just about every institution is planning to bring students back to dorms and in-person classes.
Applications are due April 1.
At OMRF, OSSM senior Kevin Nguyen is studying MPS1, a gene discovered to be a “master regulator” of cell division.
Fifty Oklahoma teens have been selected as OMRF’s 2019-20 class of Teen Leaders in Philanthropy.
The scholars were selected from a pool of 70 applicants from across the state.
