Foundation presents four scientific awards, one endowed chair
Three OMRF scientists were recognized for excellence at this year’s American College of Rheumatology meeting.
OMRF is recruiting those who have or who think they may have Sjögren’s syndrome to participate in new research studies and a clinical trial.
The project will focus on comparing certain immune cells in patients with Sjögren’s to those of healthy controls.
At its annual honors and awards ceremony on Thursday, OMRF presented Christy Everest with its Board of Directors Distinguished Service Award.
Sjögren’s syndrome may affect as many as 4 million Americans.
