The Office of Human Research Protections will conduct an educational workshop on human subject research in Oklahoma on Oct. 31.
The event will be hosted by the St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. It will also be offered as a simulcast hosted by OMRF in Oklahoma City from 8:30 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.
OHRP is a division of the federal government which provides oversight and regulations for conducting human subjects research.
The workshop is intended for doctors, researchers and other medical professionals and will focus on what constitutes human research, secondary use of human biological samples, and the informed consent process for human subjects.
Registration for the event is $25. Deadline to register is Oct. 28.
