The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation has been recognized as one of the best places to work in the nation in the first-ever Top Workplaces USA rankings.
OMRF is one of just seven Oklahoma-based employers to make the national list. Philadelphia-based research and consulting firm Energage compiled the results.
The nationwide program is an offshoot of The Oklahoman’s Top Workplaces rankings and recognizes organizations across the country that have gone above and beyond in developing a positive workplace culture. OMRF took the No. 2 spot among Oklahoma’s large employers (350-plus employees) in the 2020 regional rankings and has ranked in the top 10 every year since the state Top Workplaces began in 2013, one of only six companies in Oklahoma to do so.
Recipients are selected based on results from Energage’s anonymous, research-based employee engagement survey. Staff rate employers on factors that include job satisfaction, management quality, pay and benefits, and opportunities for growth.
“This award celebrates companies that make the world a better place to work by prioritizing a people-centered culture and giving employees a voice,” said OMRF President Stephen Prescott, M.D. “As we enter our 75th anniversary year, I feel confident our founders would be proud of where we are today.”
