The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation has named Trent Brown as the foundation’s Director of Environmental Health, Safety and Compliance.
Brown comes to OMRF from the University of Oklahoma, where he served as an environmental health and safety officer for two decades.
Brown received his bachelor’s degree in geology and environmental science from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of Oklahoma.
“I am excited to join the OMRF team,” Brown said. “I look forward to being a compliance resource for all OMRF employees, while also inspiriting safe practices and maintaining a safe work environment.”
At OMRF, Brown will serve as the liaison between the foundation and regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with environmental, occupational health and safety regulations throughout the Oklahoma City-based nonprofit biomedical research institute.
