Local scientists are slowly starting to go back to work at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, which has been shut down since the end of March.
The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation says the drug is often prescribed to those who have lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.
Multiple studies have show the drug is not effective at treating COVID-19, and in some cases can even cause heart problems.
Researchers in Oklahoma are teaming up with top experts from around the country to study Oklahoma City.
