OMRF Teen Leaders Program

A Leadership & Outreach Opportunity With a Scientific Edge

Applications for the 2025-26 class are due March 1, 2025!

Are you a high school student looking to strengthen your leadership skills, stand out on college applications, and make a difference in your community? The OMRF Teen Leaders Program is a one-of-a-kind experience where you’ll grow as a leader, gain hands-on experience in philanthropy and outreach, and get a behind-the-scenes look at cutting-edge scientific research—all while connecting with like-minded peers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead With Purpose:
Participate in workshops, group activities, and mentorship opportunities to develop essential leadership and teamwork skills. Learn how to inspire others, manage projects, and create impact in your community.
  • Access Exclusive Science:
While this isn’t a science-focused program, you’ll have unique opportunities to explore the research happening at OMRF, meet scientists, and see how discoveries are made.
  • Make Your Mark:
Work with your class to design and host your very own fundraising event. This capstone project is your chance to showcase your leadership, creativity, and vision.
  • Boost Your College Applications:
Gain skills and experiences that make your resume shine, from leadership development to community impact and networking with professionals in philanthropy and science.

Who Should Apply?

This program is ideal for students who:

  • Aspire to lead and create change in their schools and communities.

  • Seek unique extracurricular activities to enhance college and scholarship applications.

Why Choose Teen Leaders?

  • Leadership Training: Build skills that will set you apart.
