Summer Programs
OMRF’s programs for high school seniors and undergraduate students prepare Oklahoma’s most promising students for careers in research through a paid, hands-on summer internship.
Postbaccalaureate Research Scholars
This two-year opportunity is meant for postbaccalaureate students who wish to attain research experience that will help prepare them for graduate or professional school in a STEM related area or healthcare.
Graduate Student Programs
Through a cooperative effort with the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC), Ph.D. and M.D./Ph.D. students enrolled at OUHSC can complete their dissertation research with an OMRF scientist, either through the Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (Ph.D.) or the Medical Scientist Training Program (M.D./Ph.D.).
Postdoctoral Trainee Program
The OMRF Postdoc Training Program was created to complement the training postdocs receive in their individual labs and to enhance their career development.
Teen Leaders
OMRF offers a premier teen leadership program to Oklahoma high school students who want to gain a deeper understanding of supporting their communities, develop hands-on leadership skills, learn how OMRF operates, and how they can become advocates for research and improving human health.
