Frequently Asked Questions
What is OMRF?
OMRF was founded as a non-profit organization in 1946 with the mission of conducting basic biomedical research to help people live longer, healthier lives. Learn more about our history.
What is the overall application process?
Once you have identified the position(s) you are aligned with and qualified for, you must apply for the position(s) through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ClearCompany. This includes answering a few simple application questions and uploading a resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV). Once your application is complete, you should receive a confirmation email from ClearCompany.
If we move forward with your application, a member of our Talent Acquisition team will contact you to discuss next steps, which may include one or more interviews.
If you advance to the finalist stage, HR will invite you to share professional reference contacts. After references are completed for all finalists, the hiring team will make a final hiring decision. If you are selected, your official offer will be extended by a member of our Talent Acquisition team. Upon accepting the offer, you will be asked to authorize and complete a background check and onboarding forms.
Can I apply for more than one position, and how do I do so if I didn’t create a username or password when I first applied?
You may apply for multiple positions for which you are qualified. To apply for another role, visit our careers page, select the position you’re interested in, and click “Apply.” Choose “I already have an account” and enter the email address you used for your previous application. You’ll receive a time-limited email from ClearCompany (valid for 15 minutes) with a link to access and submit your application.
We encourage you to keep applications intentional and to review the lab or department details to ensure alignment before applying.
How do I save my application?
If you’re unable to complete your application in one session, you can save it by selecting “Finish Later” at the bottom of the page. You will then receive an email from ClearCompany with a link to access your application to complete it at a later time.
Can I update my application after it has been submitted?
How can I check the status of my application?
Email OMRF’s recruiting team or contact a member of the Talent Acquisition team directly using their contact information listed on this page.
How long does it typically take to fill a position?
The time it takes to fill a position varies. Factors include the number of applicants, interview availability, hiring urgency, role complexity, etc. Background checks and references can also affect the timeline. Thank you for your patience!
Will I be notified once the position is filled?
Yes. We will do our best to promptly notify all applicants who complete an application when a position they applied for is filled.
Will I be considered for other opportunities?
You’ll be considered for the jobs you apply for and are qualified for.
How do I withdraw my application from consideration?
Email OMRF’s recruiting team or call 405-271-7430, share the job title and the reason for withdrawing.
