OMRF, selected by The Scientist as one of the best US research institutions for post-docs in 2011, 2012, and 2013 provides enrichment programs and activities specifically designed to assist post-docs in achieving their career goals. Post-doctoral Fellows perform as apprentices with designated scientific mentors.
Those who continue on the post-doc track, receive guidance in order to formulate a well-defined career path that may lead to academic positions, while others pursue rewarding careers in areas such as biotechnology, industry or teaching. A selected few may earn OMRF faculty positions with dedicated laboratory space, independent budgets and personnel; and some may transition to staff scientist positions. Regardless of the goal, OMRF’s strong mentorship program helps guide individuals toward their own definition of success.
OMRF follows NIH stipend guidelines (up to the first four years) and provides a comprehensive benefit package for full-time Post-doctoral Fellows.
Fellowships may be available in any of OMRF research programs. To explore or apply, please visit https://jobs.omrf.org.
